How much social interaction does a baby need?

We are new to our town and don’t know many people here. Also, my husband and I are introverts and don’t love making new friends 🤷🏻‍♀️
Our LO is 3 months and for now it’s just me and her all day long till husband gets home. 
I’m going to put her in playgroups/daycare when she’s a little older but do you think we’re harming her by not giving her daily social interaction currently? 
We do outdoorsy activities over the weekends. Have some friends or family visit us or we visit them, but that’s not on a regular basis.

But I do think some social interaction is beneficial. Even if it’s just storytime/playgroup at the library once a week.

I have a friend that is a stay at home mom with a 4 and 2 year old. The only issue I notice is that the 4 year old has extreme stranger anxiety. She won’t even look at you when you’re talking to her. She only interacts with people she’s around frequently. I don’t think you’re doing any harm at 3 months though. I think the play group you put your child in will help ease stranger anxiety fast. I just wouldn’t isolate her much longer.

I wouldn’t start being concerned about this until at least a year old. Then I would begin to make an effort to get involved in some kind of social interactions, whether it be playgroups, more time with family and their children, park or library visits, etc. it is incredibly beneficial for children to be around other children.
