What went wrong?

I’ve been friends with this guy for 7 years. He and I used to “talk” as teenagers but I didn’t get serious with him because I didn’t want other people to think I got with him for his money. So, I chose to be with someone else over him.

After a few years we started to talk again, but we were both in relationships (bad relationships). We stopped talking AGAIN after a few weeks and went on with our relationships.

Fast forward, we start to communicate again and this time we start hanging out. Have had sex a few times but it’s been almost a month & his communication has been at a level ZERO. I’m assuming he’s with his ex again or he’s just burning this bridge of friendship between us. I don’t know what went wrong and he says he’s busy but he literally doesn’t answer the phone or text back.

My last text to him was “when did you become the worlds worst communicator?”

What happened?
