Gripe water

My daughter is 3 weeks old and she looks/ sounds like she is struggling so hard to push out gas so much at night. It’s so hard to watch and she has such trouble sleeping because of it.

I’ve tried gripe water for her, it seems to work, but now I’m hearing mixed reviews about it?!

I don’t see my midwife until next week, so I’ll ask her then. But I’m curious if anyone else has used gripe water and what are your thoughts.
