Which nail is best?

I was looking though ig videos of nails, and was wondering which are best?whats the diffrence? And why?
Ive gotten my nails done before but i never educated myself on what type of nail i got. I think they were acrylic ? Lol

Opposing what others said. Acrylic doesn’t have to lengthen your nails. I get acrylic over my natural nails and paint it with shellac (gel) . They last the longest that way. I can literally go two months but of course your nail grows so it looks crazy lol. And once’s it’s grown out I just get a refill and too with shellac again , repeat. The first time is expensive bc you pay for both acrylic and shellac but the second time you’re only paying for a refill and shellac. It’s worth it in my opinion bc of how long it last and my nails never break. I’ve tried everything from shellac alone to the powder that’s healthier and nothing last as long as what I do. Now it’s not the healthiest option for your nails , but I have never had a problem. I have pretty strong nails.

Gel is just a type of nail polish. Acrylics are when  you get longer nails.

There's also SNS which is supposedly better for your nails(?) 
I've got that currently and love it but since it's not acrylic I don't think you can add extensions on to make your nails longer. It just goes ontop of your natural nail. 
Also as someone said before gel is just a type of polish but it's tough and durable and will last a lot longer than regular polish.

Depends on your needs. Acrylics are more durable and easier to form into extensions.  
Gel polish is great for making designs because of the liquidy state allowing for longer manipulation before its cured. 
Hard gels are more flexible but take forever to remove.
