Baby time?

Question

My husband is military and he's leaving on deployment this fall. In the few months we have before he leaves we're thinking about not actively trying not to have a baby since we both want one. Are we crazy for wanting to do this before he leaves for 6-9 months? Idk I just kind of want some feedback and encouragement or advice.

I wouldn’t have a baby until he’s done in the military. You’ll be spending most of your pregnancy alone and what if he can’t be there when your giving birth? That just sounds extremely lonely and depressing for a woman to go through.

I would say start trying now but I'd also say try right before he leaves. Only because he should be there for the birth and if he leaves 6-9 months the baby takes abt 9 ofc but it's whatever you want, because you might not conceive if you only do it that one time.
