2 week long period

So I recently started birth control in April and since I started, I hadn’t gotten my period. I ended up finally getting it June 20th and I was relieved because it’s a light flow with no cramps. However, it has yet to end and it’s now been over two weeks. I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I’m going to call my lady doctor Monday to see if they can lower my dosage
