Twins?

What’s the likelihood I’ll have twins? They run in my family through my moms side and have always skipped a generation. My mom is a twin but I am not, which would mean theoretically I might have twins. Is this legit or am I just too hopeful?😂🤪

It’s a possibility, my step father’s mother had a twin and he had a twin but sadly died. However he didn’t have a twins with my mom so i guess her genetics canceled it out because there’s no twins in my family.

Women carry the gene for twins. Because of this, you have an increased chance of having twins but it's not a huge likelihood. 
They say it skips a generation due to a man not carrying the gene but being able to pass the gene on to his daughter. 
For instance a woman has twin boys. Both of those boys do not carry the gene but their daughters may. Thus it skipped a generation.
