When do most people stop swaddling?

My baby is almost 7 weeks old & showing no signs of rolling over. I’ve made it work so far only having one swaddle blanket & a few velcro swaddles (I prefer the blanket & only use the velcros when I need to wash the blanket) but now I’m thinking of getting more blankets. The thing is, I don’t wanna buy them if i’m gonna need to stop swaddling soon. So when did you stop swaddling or what are some other ways I could repurpose a swaddle blanket?

My baby didn’t roll until 6 months so he stayed swaddled for a ridiculously long time. I think you could get 1 more. They make good stroller blankets and can be used to drape over the car seat or wedge baby into a baby swing at the park when she starts to sit up but isn’t super stable yet. Can also be used as a nursing cover. I really love the stretchy swaddle blankets by Copper Pearl on Amazon.

My daughter was swaddled for almost 5 months. She slept much better swaddled and hadn't started rolling from back to belly yet.

With my son we swaddled for months! He was probably 8 months old when we stopped he loved it.

At about 2 months as my daughter just wiggled so much she started escaping it.
I now use baby sleeping bags.

Safe sleep guidelines say 8 weeks or sooner I’d baby starts rolling. So if your going to follow those guidelines then just 1 week left. We use the swaddle blankets now as regular blankets in the carseat if it’s cold or as a blanket to lay on the floor

We stopped at 6 weeks. We just use her love to dream swaddle at night for sleep. During the day she sleeps in a sleeper and is content.
