I’ve had a crush on the same boy for about six years now and some people make me feel guilty about it for how long it’s been.(as if I’m kinda crazy) I was wondering what’s the longest you’ve all had a crush on a person?

I'm kind of wondring why is he still a crush?
My longes crush was for like 6 months.
But I feel like it's a bit weird as well, sorry.
Have you acted upon it? Does he know you have a crush on him?
Is he not interested?
I have a friend with a similar issue.
She's seen a guy in a bar a year ago, they didn't talk, she kind of found him via friends on Instagram and she's just kind of stalking him, she didn't even follow him, she follows him via his best friend's instagram. She has a crush on him for over a year now and he probably doesn't know she exists.
But then again she tells me he has a girlfriend so it doesn't really matter so I tell her to either talk to him (which is a bad idea alltogether because he has a girlfriend) or to move on because this will only pain her 😕
