Pan or Bi?

I came out to my mom that I'm bi.....but idk 
I'm a little confused if I'm bi or pan bc I really don't care what gender as long as you care about me the same way I care about you 
I don't have a gender preference I think all are gorgeous!
I just don't know how to identify and was hoping yall can help me out

I may be uneducated but I think they’re pretty much the same thing. I identify as bi and don’t care whether someone is cis or trans. I think that’s the main difference. Some bi people wouldn’t date someone trans so they can’t be pan

Don’t want to assume anything but I personally would say that your pan... a know a lot of people say they are the same thing but they aren’t. They are very similar but not the same. There a phrase that a lot of Pan people use which is “hearts not parts” pan is not only with trans because a trans male is male and and trans female is still female so that makes bi still with 2 genders (hints the bi meaning 2) and pan means all which it’s the “hearts not parts” come in because you’ll date boy, girl, non binary, gender fluid, gender queer, Demi boy, Demi girl. And any other gender identity hints the pan meaning all... if you don’t like all of those but like more than 2 you could identify as polysexual (the color are green pink blue).... I hope that helps
