Have you watched porn before as a Christian?

Was curious about a sex position and looked it up and saw a video. Watched some of it but didn’t finish it and ended up feeling so guilty. The guilt is overcoming me and making me sad. I will never watch anything close to porn again. So curious how many of you guys have ever run into porn too?

I gave up pornography after becoming Christian and realizing that I had always had conflicting feelings about it. My call to Christ rid me of the need to supplement where my husband has MORE than made up for. Since we rejected its use (in any form- we’re currently struggling bc sooo many of the mainstream television shows have ACTUAL PORN in them- GOT, SOA, BB, shameless and most of the miniseries now made by Netflix 😡) our sex lode has become more passionate, fulfilling and we have made 4 beautiful children. Prior to that I think we had false ideas about our flesh and needs. I hope I’m not being too raunchy. I’m just trying to impart that there wasn’t ever a downside for us and that we are both MORE fulfilled without it. It was almost diluting our senses rather than stimulating them. ❤️

Unfortunately in my case, I watched t before and after becoming a Christian. It is a bad habit that I struggled so hard to rid of but I prayed and prayed for strength and deliverance. You have to do your part and God will do what you can’t. You have to fight your thoughts. When my mind goes there, I immediately have to think of something else. When there is an erotic scene on tv, I have to look away. The biggest struggle for me is being surrounded by friends and family who are not Christian because they curse and have sexual humors. I do my best to not participate and change the subject.

I’ve never watched porn. But you would be surprised to find out how many Christians do.... honestly just ask for forgiveness and move on. You’re still more loved than you will ever know. 😘

I watched it as a sinner, when I got saved I had to be delivered from it. It's a ugly habbit.
