Earliest and no NICU?

What is the earliest you’ve had a baby and baby didn’t have to stay in the NICU? I know someone who had a baby at 34 weeks and they didn’t need any NICU time. Has anyone had earlier?

It honesty all depends on the baby and it’s health and the hospital. My first two bother came early at 35w5d my daughter needed 6 days in the nicu and my son two weeks. Also my hospitals policy was any baby born before 36 week automatically had to go to the NICU.

Hospital policy anything before 36 weeks goes to the NICU. Baby should stay in until 37 weeks. SIDS are higher in babies born before 37 weeks and it's better on babies body.

It doesn’t necessarily mean they will need nicu if they are born pre term. My boy was 40+1 and had nicu time x
