Confused 🤷‍♀️ I should be 10 weeks!

So yesterday I had light spotting wasn’t much at all but because this is my first baby I thought better check. Went off to A&E saw doctor set up emergency scan appointment this morning.

So this morning myself and DH went back to hospital had our scan and everything is fine. Although I did have an internal scan.

Little bean is still there and saw the little flutter of his/her heart. It was lovely but all very quick and over with. Lady nurse was happy enough and so we got to go home with a couple of pictures.

According to my dates I should be 10 weeks tomorrow but the nurse measured the baby as 8weeks and 1 day. Should I be worry that am wrong with my dates or could it be baby was all curled up at the time.

Have my other scan in two weeks time which is supposed to be my 12 week scan.

Has anyone ever had this happen before?

I am also relieved that everything is ok but worried about the measurement of baby now! Confused 🤷‍♀️
