Induction??

Question

Would you agree to being induced at 39 weeks if your doctor was going out of the country for two weeks during your due date? 
The other OBs in my town kind of suck so I’m debating going ahead with the induction so I have my doctor deliver the baby. I have gestational diabetes but other than that, there is really no medical reason to induce... what would you do

No I wouldn’t, the doctor is there just for the last 5 minutes anyway

Yeah I would, rather that than having a sucky OB.

Personally I wouldn’t. The only reason I’d get one is if it were medically necessary. But that’s just me🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d do whatever you feel most comfortable with and make sure you’re well informed about the procedure before agreeing to in.

Yes...and I ha e he was actually moving away I didn't trust a stranger delivering my baby and 39 weeks is considered full term I'm glad I did to she ended up being almost 9lbs one more week and she would have been about 10 that would have meant I would have torn more than 2 degree tear. I just have trust issues when it comes to who is handling my baby I loved my Dr he was so amazing I'm actually sad that he won't be there for this baby
