Is birth control still effective?

I take my birth control everyday even the placebo pills no matter what and do not forget. But I don’t always take it at the same time every morning because I sleep late sometimes on accident. When I have sex I still use condoms. But is my birth control still effective even though I don’t take it at the same exact hour every time I take it?

Maybe you could change the time you take the pill. Do it at like 5pm or 8pm ECT

Well first of all, the pill isn’t 100% effective in the first place. Not taking it at the same time lowers the effectiveness.  I got pregnant after taking one pill 2 hours late AND pulling out. You need to take it at the same time every day. Clearly whatever time you’ve decided is not working for you. So change the time you take it
