A little off topic, but I’m celebrating my citizenship!

I’m sure this isn’t the most exciting news for people, but it’s a celebration for me! Tomorrow marks 10 years since I got my US citizenship!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎊

From the time I first came to the US, to the time I gained citizenship, and to now...Words can’t describe how my life has changed for the better☺️ It gave me a new start and coming here quite literally has saved my life. I’ve got permanent marks on my body, but it...and my citizenship are the story of my survival. And I’m proud of it. I’m a survivor. And I’m a fighter. It has been a loooooooong time since the last time I lived in fear.
