How much milk do you feed your 12 MONTH OLD every day?

Mine takes around 15 oz a day. The dr was surprised and said he should be taking like 20-30 oz. I don't understand because when I look it up, it says the AAP recommends 8-12 oz a day. 
I feel like the dr is just focusing on him not growing in the past 3 months. She was like "ohh that's whyy." Annoying because I feed him a lot of solids and he just doesn't wanna finish his bottle anymore. The AAP makes it seem like I'm going above and beyond but he has plateaued on his growth chart. Now I have to give him Pediasure for the next few months. 🙄

My little one has maybe 10-15 oz a day of almond milk. But she still nurses 4-6 times a day too. She’s also been in the 90th percentile for weight since she was like 6 months old. lol.

My daughter still nurses 5 or 6 times a day and I have no idea how much she is getting. In addition to that she does between 4-8oz of almond milk usually. So she is definitely taking more than the  AAP recommends and probably more on par with what your doctor is saying.
My son was still drinking several 6oz bottles of formula at 12 months. I don't remember exactly but I remember feeling like a bad mom because I felt like he "should" mostly be on solids but it seemed like was definitely still getting most of his nutrition from bottles. He didn't have much interests in solids and offering them before his formula just sent him into a tantrum. 
I say just go with what works for your baby. If your baby mostly wants solids and doesn't drink much milk it's probably fine. Like you said the AAP recommends a pretty small amount. For anyone with a baby who isn't ready to transition over to solids completely and still mostly wants milk that's probably just fine also.

My daughter drinks 4-6oz of cow’s milk a day and nurses 3 times a day. 20-30oz after a year seems very excessive. Their weight gain slows down a lot after the first year. I would get a second opinion before using the pediasure so you don’t end up causing him to be overweight.

I mean it’s not like your not giving it too her. She’s the one that’s not taking it and if she likes food she likes food. I wouldn’t stress it too much so maybe just try water or juice and see if she just wants a change.
