Traveling with Breast Milk?!

How do you prepare your frozen breast milk for travel?? On a plane or by car??

Answer

We flew and I kept milk in a lunch box with an ice pack. You can ask flight attendant for hot water on the plane (like for hot tea) but bring a thermos so the bottle fits and then pour the water in. Or you can get hot water at Starbucks or something before you board the plane. They have nursing mothers rooms at a lot of the airports now too, not sure if they have microwaves or not to heat some water up might be worth checking online. If your baby will take it cold, I just warmed as best I could between my thighs lol as I didn’t think about warming it at the time, oops! Whatever works! 🤣
