Parents who have vacationed without their children!

I'm almost 25 weeks with baby #3, my husband and I have not stayed a night away or even had a honeymoon. We are planning on going about 6 hour drive to Washington DC and then 3 more hours to Virginia beach. Only Thursday night to Monday morning. The thing is I'm so worried about an emergency happening and being almost 10 hours away. I might add that I have a flying phobia lol. I have done it a few times but I seriously hate it. But in case of emergency I want to be able to come home very quickly. Just curious what other parents had as an emergency plan or if I'm just being crazy. Help!
