Will I get an ultrasound at 14 weeks?

I just started going to the doctor this pregnancy because I just got insurance figured out. At my first appointment I will be 14 weeks, will they give me an ultrasound or will they wait till I’m 20 weeks? Thanks :)

It would depend on the dr. My dr doesn't even see you until 10-12 weeks. So I got a ultrasound at 10 weeks (a dating scan) and one at 12 weeks (just for fun).

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 16 week 20 weeks 30 weeks and will have another one at 35 weeks (this is due to gestational diabetes and it's just to check amniotic fluid) 36 weeks is my last growth scan.

Generally the will do your anatomy scan 18-20 weeks. With going once a month that could work out for your second appointment. But, if you havnt had any kind of ultrasound yet they may do a dating scan

I had insurance issues with my first pregnancy and got my first appt at 14 weeks with a dating ultrasound.  Ofcourse it depends on the dr you can confirm when you make the appt

Yes. Most doctors do an ultrasound at 8 weeks, 12 weeks and then again at 20 weeks. That’s in the USA. Not sure where you are located
