Feeling uneasy with my RE office. Am I overreacting? Should I push for what I feel is right or take their advice?

This is going to be a long post, so I apologize. Please bear with me because I need opinions/advice.

I started with my RE in March after TTC for a year with PCOS. I found out from them that I also have a symmetrical Bicornuate uterus without a septum. I was ovulating on my own but having 6 week cycles.

We did two rounds of Letrozole in hopes of shortening my cycles and conceiving with timed intercourse - no luck.

Moved on to IUI - first round letrozole and Ovedril - shorter cycle but no luck.

This round, same IUI protocol but I went in for my ultrasound and got, how I feel, ambushed by our pushy IVF nurse who was unhappy with my scan because I only have on follicle at 14.5mm. First of all, they know I have long cycles, so why they keep bringing me in for day 12 and 14 scans is beyond me! She begins to try to talk us into trashing this cycle and going right into IVF. Telling me that my insurance covers 70% so between that and the medications we will "only be paying around $6,000". When I ask for her opinion and our other options she repeatedly tells me that they won't change my medication because I'm ovulating regularly. BUT I WAS OVULATING REGULARLY ON MY OWN!!!

Even after pointing that out she tells me that they won't change or increase my medication to mature more follicles or more quickly. Then goes on to tell me that my only option is essentially IVF and I should just jump in and that I will regret be 35 trying for number 3 unless I have eggs saved from now, at 27.

Pardon my French, but what the fuck?!

Am I being crazy for being so mad that they won't offer me any other options? I feel it is way too soon to throw me into IVF. I feel like we've barely started trying. I have mild PCOS and my SO has perfect sperm.

HELP 😭
