What do you put under ur babys halo sleep sack?

I’ve been putting my baby in a sleeper and then halo sleep sack. We keep it around 70 degrees at night. Do I need to worry about him being to hot?

I put my little guy in a zip up sleeper with a sleep sack and keep the room at 68 degrees and he is quite comfortable. Feeling the back of the neck can be a good indicator of whether they’re too hot or cold. You can also see if they’re sweating to know if they’re too hot.

Just check baby’s neck, back, and chest. If they’re just warm to the touch they’re fine. But if they’re clammy or wet/sweaty then they’re too warm.

I’d say that’s too much. I had a February baby last year and only put her in a shirt under the sleep sack or nothing at all under.
