Was i used or?

Been really good friends with this guy over 3 years. . 5 months ago he went trough a bad break up with his girlfriend..

As a friend i was there. And we spent so much time together we were inseparable. We had sex occasionally and everyone thought we were a thing. I caught feelings. And he told me he fell for me aswell. I found out he was talking to one of his friend from a different state. Little did i know it was more then friends.now ifeel used. Thinking he wanted me like i wanted him. Now hes officially in a relationship with this girl. Which hes been known for years. But he dosent wanna loose me because im his bestfriend. And wants me there for him. But what about the feelings and everything we did im just lost. Idk what to do. I really love him and want him to be in my life but i just think.he used me and its frustrating to think so..just ranting and would like some advice from u ladies.❤
