Too early to test?

About 2 1/2-3 weeks ago I thought I started ovulating, like having the clear stretchy discharge and a little bit of cramping. I had unprotected sex and all of it went away. Now I’m cramping and I had ALOT of discharge the past few days and it looks different then it normally does when I ovulate. My period should be in a few days but I’ve been irregular the past 4-5 months. Is it too early to test? Or should I wait longer?

According to eve I start in 6 days but this app is never right.
