Group B strep??

Question

Ladies who tested positive for group B strep? What was your labor like? What did they do different? With my first I tested negative but it looks like this time around I tested positive.

I just got Penicillin

All that’s different is you need to go to labor and delivery when your water breaks verses laboring awhile at home. And they put medicine in your IV or it’s a separate bag. I cannot remember which. I had it with my first. Not a big deal at all.

They hung some antibiotics I totally forgot existed until I got pregnant this time and was looking through my labs from last pregnancy and went “oh yeah, I was gbs pos last time”😂

Literally the only difference is needing to get to the hospital when labor begins for antibiotics
