Separated/money issues

We’ve been separated for over a year. My ex and I shared a joint account he would put money in for me to use for our girls. There’s hardly anything in there now a days. I have been looking for work but after being a sahm so long no one is interested in hiring me. We don’t have enough to divorce, we live in Texas. He let me have access to his account just to show me that he’s always broke, he makes around 80K a year and is always broke. he is absolutely terrible with money and literally lives paycheck to paycheck.

I feel helpless and don’t like being this pathetic. I have no one to talk to except you here.
