Membrane sweep questions!

FTM and I'm 38 weeks and 2 days, hoping to get a sweep done at my appointment tonight if my OB is able to. I'd love for baby boy to come on his own before I have to be induced this sunday.

I've tried sex, walking, bouncing on a ball, lots of pineapple, some dates, all just trying to prep my body. Baby is about 8lbs and weighing me down.

I know not all membrane sweeps work unless baby is ready, and I've heard stories of women not being able to get them done due to not being dilated and what not. Just wondering if any moms, especially FTM themselves, have has any success with a sweep and if they had a good bishop's score going in. Also hoping I have a decent bishop's score to help get things going sunday incase he doesnt come home because I really do not want to start with cervidil.
