Which do you like best?

I love the name Wesley but having trouble picturing it on a baby. Right now I’m leaning towards Declan, but I’m afraid my family is going to hate it because I’m assuming my parents haven’t heard of the name before, not that this would change MY opinion. I think it’s one of those names that grows on you.

If you love the name Wesley, go for it!! I think it’s cute. 
1) Every Wesley on this earth was a baby at some point, and the name worked just fine for them 😂
2) He won’t be a baby forever! He’ll have the name as an adult for much longer than he will as a baby.

They are all great names! I’m partial to Declan. I have a Liam and a Declan, nicknames are Liam Paddy and Dex. 💚. My parents hated the name and threw a fit, but it’s not their choice. They’ve given us issue with every name we’ve chosen, including our little girl due in two weeks.

Wesley! I love Grayson but it is overused right now and Declan is not my style. I think Wesley would be adorable on a baby and handsome on a man!

My 4 year old is Declan, and we call him Deckie. I had never heard it before I put it on the birth certificate.

Go with your gut regardless of opinions or popularity. I also think each region is different in terms of what is common. I work at a learning center during the summer and there are 3 Declans and no Wesley’s or Graysons. Our 2nd grade school year just ended, and there wasn’t a single kid with any of those names on our team. Just depends, so don’t worry about that. Pick what you like.
