Posterior cervix?

So today I had my drs appointment. I'm 40+1 and I was checked to see if I was dilated, I haven't been the last 2 times shes checked me. All week I've had contractions and I woke up to pink blood when I wiped. When the dr checked me she said I was hardly 1cm dilated, 70% effaced and had a high posterior cervix. What does that mean and do I have a long shot of going into labor naturally? I had a c section with my first because she was breach and I really want a vbac but this dr is definitely trying to push a c section (not due to health reasons)
