Implantation Or period

OK, so last night I noticed a small amount of light pink on the toilet paper when I wiped. Then This morning when I wiped I also noticed a little more, but This time it was a little more light brown. I just went to change my clothes and noticed bright blood in my panties. :(

I have been having cramping for the past three days and sore nipples. I am about a week away (6 days) from my period date...could this be my period coming early or possible implantation bleeding? I’m very discouraged... we were hoping for a baby.

Update::: definitely don’t think it’s a period! I have only had a small amount of brown discharge since! Crossing my fingers!
