Maternity Jeans!!!

I have had the worst luck with jeans! I’m almost 4 months pregnant. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 18 in Torrid jeans. I went to shop at Motherhood, the women told me to go with a 1x. I ended up going with the 2x thinking they’d fit a bit better. After one day of wearing them, I needed a belt to hold them up! So I returned them and ordered a 1x. Finally got them in yesterday and wore them to work, still loose, but not as bad as before!

Idk if I should return them and get the next size down, which is an XL... Or if I should just toughen it out hoping I’ll get bigger to fit in them. I have my nuggets gender reveal party August 11th and really want to wear jeans.
