Partial Hysterectomy at 36
So I was diagnosed in February with a dermoid on my right ovary. Surgery was June 15 and when the Dr went in to remove the cyst on the right side he also located a 7in cyst on the left ovary which he had to remove the entire left ovary and Fallopian tube. The cyst on right side was removed and I still have the ovary. Dr also removed endometriosis that had grew outside the uterus and had grown up near my liver. Keep in mind I never had anything abnormal such as irregular periods or pain to possibly indicate I would have something wrong. All this was found by accident after having an X-ray done of my back and the radiologist saw something abnormal in my pelvic area. Have any of you ladies experienced anything like this? I had a follow up today and he discussed seeing a fertility specialist to talk about freezing my eggs due to me only have 1 ovary and my age(36). Any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated.
