What Milk?

So my daughter will be 11 months soon and I now when they turn 1 that’s when the formula changes to either cows milk or any other option. My question is, what type of milk do you guys recommend? Cow, goat, almond, enfamil Toddler?

My doctor said whole cow milk was necessary because the fat helps developed my sons brain.  Be mindful of who’s tips you consider.

In Canada, parents are recommended to delay introducing plant “milk”s until age 2. Whole cows milk is fine if your little one is eating a wide range of solids. Otherwise, chat with your pediatrician about other options.

We had my daughter on whole but it's to much for her belly so we switched to 1% a d it's been perfect my daughter wi take almond milk but kinda doesn't really want it it takes forever for he to drink I bottle vs with normal milk that's gone in like 10 min lol

Milk is completely unnecessary (nutrition wise) for anyone who is consuming foods and getting nutrients from those foods. If you want to give your child milk for fun then any milk will do, I prefer plant based options as animal milks are inflammatory and for a lot cause constipation as most of the world has some level of lactose intolerance.

We used pea milk for the transition, and now he drinks whole milk when he wants milk, which isnt very often

Toddler formula is what you use if your kid isn’t getting the nutrition they need. It’s expensive and unnecessary when your kid is fine. Whole(red cap) cows milk is recommended along with a good meal plan. You can buy a can of toddler milk to give your kid if for example they don’t eat that day, give them the recommended daily serving of the formula.
