Anyone get diagnosed with gestational diabetes and high blood pressure and DID NOT have to get induced early?

I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension and am being induced at 37 weeks. Pretty sure early induction is common for hypertensive disorders

If it’s well maintained, and you don’t go into labor naturally before 39 weeks, they usually won’t let you go past 40 weeks and will induce you. 
If they aren’t under control, or complications come up, they’ll induce early.
I had PIH with my first and had him naturally at 39w2d but was induced with my 2nd at 40 weeks to avoid complications.

With my first son I was induced at 37.5 days due to high blood pressure and my dr leaving the country . Had to have csection my body wouldn’t go passed 2 cm . Currently pregnant and hoping for a vbac but still have high blood pressure so hoping not this time 🤦🏽‍♀️

Not hypertensive but GD and the only reason I’m being induced a week early is because I asked and my OB is out of the country the week I’m due. I HATE the one that will be on call that week so she hooked me up with my second favorite in the practice. Mine is controlled by diet and exercise though.
