hand pain??

so I was playing softball and I got hit in the hand with the ball while batting and it immediately started to hurt, like I couldn’t grip the bat or the ball or anything but my coach said it was okay for now. So I continued to bat two more times and play second base also. Finally it got to the point where the assistant coach had to tell head coach that I needed to come out. So you think it’s broken or just bruised? It’s badly swollen (can’t really see in pics) but I can’t move my hand around and my wrist still is kinda sore.
