Possible Microcephaly??? Soft spot and sutures r fuses already???

Has anyone had their LO measure small in head circumstance and turned out ok? My son is in the 1st-2nd percentile and his pediatrician mentioned Microcephaly and referred us to a neurologist. His appt is in OCT and in the meantime i am wanting to gain some insight on this and how it will impact his life in the future. Doc also mentioned how his soft spot is no longer there and it feels like all of his sutures have fused. Any insight would be appreciated!
