Put newborn on back to sleep, rolls over to her side?

Question

Just like I said, I lay this girl down on her back, and she’ll roll over and sleep on her side instead. 
Is this okay? Can she breathe? She can of course roll back over to her back, she’s just propped on one side- but I’m terrified of sids and I don’t think it’s safe- but it’s hard to stop her. Every time I correct her, she either rolls right back to her side, or wakes up and abandons sleep all together. 
Help!

In her side is fine if she is rolling there herself. You can’t spend the next 18 years watching her sleep and rolling her back ;-) (I know I’ve tried lol!). Do make sure there are no blankets or teddies etc that could cover her face in and position, that she could drag over with her when she rolls. No one warns you that you never get to not worry again for the rest of your life do they! 💕

My son scared the crap out of me at 4 days old doing the same. He’s happy and healthy now! Just make sure she doesn’t get on her tummy, which at that age seems like it would be hard and you’re good!

Doctor told me if they roll by themselves it's ok and you can leave them, just make sure to always put them down on their backs!

Both of my children are side sleepers and were since birth. I put them on their backs and the rolled on their sides all the time. Doctor told me to let them but always place them on their back to sleep, if they roll on their own they are ok to stay that way.
