Menstrual cup for TTC

Has anyone here had success using a menstrual cup for TTC? If so, how did you go about using it? During your fertile window? Directly after sex? Did you pee first?

I have so many question.

I tried last night for the first time and aside from having the most traumatizing experience taking it out this morning I think it makes sense! I did get up and pee first before inserting it though so wondering if maybe that’s not the best way and I should have just put it in immediately after sex then gone to pee. Anyway- any advice is greatly appreciated :)
