Rolling in crib 😩

So my 3 month old rolled from back to stomach for the first time yesterday morning... and did it like ten more times throughout the rest of the day.

So I took his arms out of the love to dream swaddle last night and he kept rolling in the crib ☹️

He would either roll and cry or roll and sleep on his side/ stomach. I let him sleep on his side because I was exhausted, but turned him back every time he was sleeping on his stomach.

So my question is, is it safe to let a 3 month old sleep on their stomach if they roll onto it? Everything on the internet says it’s safe if they roll there themselves but the age they all say is 4-6 months.

I’m so stressed he’s going to suffocate, but we both barely slept last night!
