Has anyone had a ECV/ Breeched Version?

Question

So I’m 36 weeks and 4 days and my son is still breeched with the placenta in front. The doctor today told me that I had a 30% chance that this could work with no complications. 
I want to get some thoughts to either back out from this or to ease my worries about the procedure. 
PLEASE HELP

I chose not to do it. I have read studies and done research and to me the small possibility of benefits did not outweigh the risks and like your doctor said, there is only a small chance it would work and baby can still turn breech again if it is successful. I chose CS and it went wonderfully♥️ I know a lot of people had them done and I don’t want to scare you but here is why I said no:
At *best* only 50% chance of success (and baby can still turn back)
If it goes wrong you can end up with an emergency CS right then and there
Rarely (but it has happened) babies have been injured from the procedure 
If your doctor doesn’t offer an epidural (which not every doctor does apparently) I have heard the procedure itself can hurt worse than labor 
Your baby might be breech for a reason (my baby was pretty much stuck with his  butt down and his feet in his face) 
Rarely babies have passed away (they can not confirm or deny that it was due to this procedure)
Personally I felt more anxious and scared about having an ECV than having a CS so I opted for a CS and it went wonderfully. I loved my birth experience and it was worth it to me to safely have my baby. ♥️
PS I am in no way saying people are bad for doing them. This was completely my personal decision based off of research I did (and no I didn’t just read about people’s experiences, I read actual research and studies and spoke with my doctors). My husband and my doctor fully supported my decisions and I felt it was right for me.

I’m a labor and delivery nurse and work with 15 different OBs. None of them even offer that as an option anymore because it hardly ever works or ends up an emergency c section rather than a planned one.

I had an ECV and it didn’t work.  It didn’t result in an emergency c section.  Just tried and it just wasn’t successful.  At 38 weeks my water broke and I had a c section because he was still breech.  I was happy I at least tried.
