Doctor worried about babies size

I’m currently 34 weeks 1 day and at my last appointment she said baby was measuring ahead and we would evaluate at my next appointment I just measured myself and it was saying 38. Has anyone had any experiences with measuring ahead what did your doctor decide to do? Yes I know it’s not always accurate and blah blah blah I don’t need moms bashing me in the comments I’m just curious for other people’s experiences.
