Small for gestational age- anyone else?help

I’m currently 25+3 with identical twins. pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest at all as they were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome at 20 weeks and had to have surgery to save them. That all went well and things have been looking good. At scan yesterday we were told that both twins were on the smaller side (below 10th centile) and consultant may want to deliver early depending on how things go at our next scan(s). They’ve estimated that both babies weight around 1lb5oz each and other than small weights they are doing really well!! I’m a first time mum and soo anxious my baby girls are going to be born super early.

What’s people’s experiences with premature babies? Anyone else experience situations like these?
