Thought it was my turn...

Stephanie

So I went to the doc yesterday for my usual ultrasound, stress test, and doc appointment at 39 weeks... and she walks in and says “so question... did you know you’re having contractions?” And I told her yes but they weren’t anything significant. Her response was that she thought it looked like early labor.

So she checks me and I’m 3cm and she also sweeps my membranes and just says that it could totally happen today... otherwise eviction day is the 31st.

Then the contractions start, and they are close together but not bad pain. It’s like this forever. When I’m standing or walking it is incredible pressure but when I sit down I’m still having contractions but they aren’t as intense. So I call the doc and she says to wait until they are more intense. Well they still don’t go away and another couple hours go by and any time I get up it’s a strong contraction, more than when I’m sitting that are just consistent. So my friend tells me to just go and get checked out.

I go and I’m still at a three but having consistent contractions, so doc says to go home and see what happens. We “sleep” and I kept having them all night but they’ve spaced out a lot. So today is a day of walking around then taking a break, walking, squatting, taking a break... cause when I’m up they’re still happening... and they thought that early labor was the cause. It might just be a long early labor!!
