Struggle rant
Without fail. I went to the park and grocery store with my 4 boys yesterday. Every single time I hear " wow, you've got your hands full." But when people see I'm struggling because my 2 year old keeps throwing shit on the floor that I intend to purchase, do you think they even offer assistance to pick up said item so my 5 year old doesnt run off while he sees I'm distracted? Nope. I get the same comments constantly and it's tiresome. At least give a mama a hand when she's carrying a baby on each hip and struggling to get back to the car with groceries while her 7 year old pushes the cart and the 5 year old is running his mouth about not getting the treat he wanted because he didnt behave like we agreed upon. Help push her cart, maybe offer to put her groceries in her trunk while she gets the littles buckled into their car. Publix employees have always gone above and beyond, I must say, but they're products also tend to be more expensive. Anyway, if you see anyone struggling just offer to lend a hand, to a mom or dad with their "hands full" to a physically or mental disabled person, veteran, or even child. Just dont be that guy. Don't be the guy who sees struggle and just points it out instead of offering to lend a hand. Id much rather prefer to not be bothered while I'm struggling than you trying to make small talk about my struggles that are clearly evident. Rant over.
