Potty training
So this is a very different way of potty training that some parents might not agree with but it worked for us and my sister in law and I got the idea from her. We live out of town (but would work if you have a fenced in yard) and I’ve been struggling to find ways to get my 2.5 year old interested in potty training. When my sister in law told me this I was like “what? Really? Idk if that would actually work” well I finally had to try it when we went camping and ran out of diapers. So I taught her how to pee outside till we could make it to a store to get more. She was sooo interested in being able to just pee out side that she would actually tell me when she had to go and would walk over to a tree and squat, even after getting more diapers she would take it off and go by a tree.the rest of the weekend only changed her 3 times cause she didn’t make it in time. Since we’ve gotten home, she actually uses her potty and has for the last 4 days straight with only a few times of not making it in time. She also will tell me she needs to go when we are out and about in town And willingly use the public bathroom. Idk why this worked for her or why it worked for my sister in law so well but I felt I should share it
