Ovulation pain... who has experienced it?

I often have twinges when I know I am ovulating but today has been full blown severe pain in my right side...
Any one else experienced this? Or pelvic pain in general when trying for a baby

Yes! Finally someone who is experiencing what I am! I ovulated on the 20th and the last three days I have had a really sharp pain in my lower right side pelvis area that comes and goes, but today its more persistent. My period isnt till August 1-4 (theyre irregular but fall in that time always ethier being the 4th or the first), but I have never felt anything like this before a period:/ have no idea what I am feeling.
