How long to wait for 1st bath?

When cord fell off, how long did you wait to give your LO bath? Looks like it needs a few additional days to heal.

Theres no rule against bath with or without the cord

We sponged bathe ours til her's fell off. We tried not to get her wet there as the pediatrician said it would heal and fall off quicker if we kept it dry.

I waited till I got the okay from our pediatrician to go from sponge baths to bath baths 😂

Our baby’s cord came off after like 9 days. He still had some blood in the belly button  but we still gave him the bath.

Babys are still ment to be bathed with the cord on it getting wet is not a issue
