How do I tell my best friend I'm pregnant??

We bonded over the fact that we were both struggling TTC. I was at the 2 year mark of trying and she is at the 7 year mark of trying. We just found out we are 5 weeks pregnant and aren't telling anyone until week 12 or 13. I'm so nervous on how to tell her without hurting her feelings. I also work with her so it's extra hard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would say it now, the sooner the better. You will keep delaying it until you’d start showing 🤷‍♀️ Congrats, a true friend will be happy for you as if it was her own success.

Tell her by phone somewhat quickly so she can take some space if she needs to. 
Acknowledge the "elephant in the room". That you know that the 2 of you were struggling with infertility. And that you hope she will allow you to still be there for her, and that you understand that she can express feelings of frustrations and you won't take it as she's not happy for you. 
I just think it's better for it to be said than for there to be unnecessary distance, hurt feelings, and misunderstanding.

Just tell her you know how we’ve been trying for a couple of years? Well it finally happened for us and were so excited. But I would tell her before she can find out.

I would tell your BFF. Even though it’s a journey for both I’m sure she will still be happy for you. I think she would be upset if she didn’t know first.
