VBAC questions
I gave birth to my first naturally at 40 weeks. And a 52 hour labour 😩
And second was an emergency c section at 32 weeks due to heart failure. ❤️
I am 7 weeks pregnant again, yay! 🎉 There will be two years difference between 2 & 3. My midwife already said last year that I’d be a great candidate for a VBAC, yay!
But I do have a couple questions for those who have been through it.
1: did you go into labour naturally or were you induced?
2: was it a successful VBAC or did you need a repeat section? If a section, why?
3: how long was your vbac labour from start to finish?
4: do you feel you were pushed one way or another, your wants for labour we’re not followed by the drs?
Thank you ladies! I so want vbac as my recovery from my c section was terrible!!!! But my local hospital won’t let my midwife deliver the baby, she can be there and have a transfer of care once baby is born. But I’d have to have a OB and nurse team deliver. I do have an option if another hospital with my midwife but its an hour and a half drive from my house. And the other is a 45 minute drive.
