Social media anxiety

So....this is a little embarrassing lol. I'm currently 17 and I probably need to finally get on a social media platform other than YouTube and well this (a.k.a vagina Facebook). I'm a really out going person and I love people, I just like to have a safe space and only let a few people into my bubble. I don't really wanna get Facebook bc it's dying and I just feel uncomfortable with it. But I'm thinking about getting an insta. Any advice?
